Terrific Response from Irish Parents

Posted on | February 19, 2010 | No Comments

I was happily stunned on Wednesday to receive the news that Irish parents were responsible for donating a phenomenal 3,678,189 life-saving tetanus vaccines between October and December 2009 as part of the Pampers, Fairy & UNICEF Ireland 1 pack = 1 vaccine campaign. This figure represents a huge
213% Increase on the 2008 Campaign.
As previously mentioned in this blogpost, for every specially marked pack of Pampers and Fairy products purchased, Pampers and Fairy donated the cost of one vaccine to UNICEF Ireland. The campaign is committed to helping UNICEF to support countries in eliminating maternal and newborn tetanus by 2012.
Delighted that the campaign was so successful. Great news.
